Sandwich
Lease
A
lease
held by one as a lessee, who also becomes the lessor by
subletting.
For
instance, John signs a 5 year lease for his property. He
is required to pay, as the lessee, the lease amount of $600.00
monthly. He sublets the property, making him a lessor as
well. He will require his tenant, Bob to pay monthly
payments in the amount of $725.00. The lease between
John and Bob would then be considered a sandwich lease.
