United Parcel Service, Inc. has three core businesses: United States domestic package operations, international package operations and non-package operations. The Company's domestic package operations include the time-definite delivery of letters, documents and packages throughout the United States. Its international package operations consist of delivery to more than 200 countries and territories worldwide, including shipments wholly outside the United States, as well as shipments with either origin or distribution outside the United States. The non-package operations include UPS Supply Chain Solutions Group, Mail Boxes, Etc, and the Company's excess value package insurance business. UPS Supply Chain Solutions Group provides supply chain design and management, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and mail services. Mail Boxes delivers personalized business solutions through a worldwide network of independently owned and operated business, communication and shipping centers.
